Man Water Skiing On River With Motorboat — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm home movie footage from Michigan USA in 1961 captures a man water skiing on a calm river. The skier, wearing a red shirt and dark trunks, glides across the water pulled by a motorboat, with a forested shoreline in the background. The film exhibits classic Super 8 grain, color fading, and slight motion blur, conveying a nostalgic, authentic 1960s summer recreation. The footage is framed with a dark border, typical of home movie projections, and shows the skier maintaining balance while being towed, with a second person visible in the boat. This authentic archival clip offers a rare glimpse into mid-century American leisure activities.
