Spain-1972: Hotel Luz Granada In Granada Spain

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit

Useful for editorial requests needing 1972 Spanish urban travel footage, especially hotel exteriors, mid-century streetscapes, or Granada visitor context.

Period detail

The parked white cars, coach bus, hotel signage, and high-rise facade support an early 1970s urban travel setting in Spain.

Home-movie behavior

The clip has a visitor-shot perspective, moving from the tall building facade down toward the hotel entrance and street activity without staged action.

What appears in frame

Visible elements include a multi-story apartment or hotel block, rows of balconies and windows, Hotel Luz Granada signage, parked period cars, a coach bus, pedestrians, and storefront lettering.

Film character

The 8mm footage shows soft handheld framing, visible grain, mild color fade, gate borders, and exposure shifts that preserve its physical home-movie texture.

Edit role

An editor could use this as a brief establishing cutaway, travel transition, urban memory beat, or insert before a Granada hotel or street sequence.

Historical context

The frames document the look of tourism-adjacent Spanish urban architecture and roadside hotel frontage as captured by a private traveler in the early 1970s.

Research note

Human faces, hotel and storefront signage, and identifiable commercial names are visible, so users should review copyright, trademark, likeness, and location-related considerations separately.
