Kentucky Lake Float with Band — Clip Details

Vintage 8mm footage from 1961 in California captures a lively parade with a marching band strutting down the street. The Kentucky Lake float, adorned with blue floral decorations and bold lettering, moves through the crowd. A marching band in red and white uniforms performs with precision, led by a majorette in a white dress. Spectators line the route, watching the energetic procession under bright daylight. The film shows natural grain and color saturation typical of home movie footage from the era, conveying a nostalgic, celebratory mood.
