A vintage 1939 home movie clip from Michigan showing a young child holding their wet face with both hands as water rinses their hair. The child, likely in a bathtub, appears to be sitting while water drips from their fingers and hair. The scene captures a candid, intimate moment of a child being bathed, with close-up details of wet skin, shiny hair, and hands covering the face. Shot on 8mm film, this archival footage offers a nostalgic glimpse into domestic life during the late 1930s, with natural lighting and authentic home movie quality. The child’s expression suggests discomfort or reluctance, adding emotional depth to the moment. Ideal for historical documentaries, retro lifestyle content, or nostalgic storytelling.
