1972: A delicate cluster of white flowers on long stems sways gently in the wind atop a barren, rocky slope in Idaho. The fragile blooms, with their tiny petals and slender stems, contrast against the jagged terrain and gray sky. A lone figure stands in the distance near a fir tree, emphasizing the vastness of the rugged landscape. Shot on vintage 8mm film, this retro footage captures the quiet beauty and isolation of the American West in the early 1970s, with natural light highlighting the smooth, porous surface of the mounds and scattered rocks.
