A vintage 1953 home movie clip from Cottonwood, Arizona, showing a woman performing the backstroke in an outdoor swimming pool. The footage captures her in a swimsuit and swim cap, gliding through the water with strong kicks and rhythmic strokes. The overcast sky and calm pool lanes suggest a quiet swim meet or practice session. Shot on 8mm film, the clip offers authentic retro charm with natural lighting and subtle splashes, evoking mid-century Americana and nostalgic memories of community pool events.
