1958: A Mexican immigrant man carries a box while walking alongside his young daughter in rural Taos, New Mexico. The pair moves together through a hot summer day, the child watching intently as her father works as a day laborer in the fields. This vintage 8mm film captures a quiet moment of bonding and shared experience between father and daughter during a hard day’s work. The footage offers a poignant glimpse into mid-century rural labor, immigrant life, and family resilience. Shot on 8mm film, the grainy, authentic quality enhances its archival and documentary value. Ideal for historical storytelling, social commentary, or nostalgic content.
