A vintage 8mm film clip from 1937 in Tryon, North Carolina, showing a man carrying a wild opossum by its tail while a young girl watches. The scene captures a rural 1930s moment with candid, documentary-style footage. The man appears to be showing off the creature, possibly as a rodent or pest, while the girl observes with curiosity. The grainy, hand-held quality of the 8mm film adds to the authenticity and historical charm. This archival vintage footage offers a glimpse into early 20th-century life and human-animal interactions in a small Southern town.
