Vintage 8mm home movie footage from 1965 in Aspen, Colorado, capturing a nostalgic Christmas tradition. A family gathers to chop down their own Christmas tree in the snowy mountains, with scenes of cutting, dragging, and carrying the tree through the winter landscape. The grainy, handheld Super 8 aesthetic evokes the warmth and simplicity of 1960s vintage. This authentic home movie offers a rare glimpse into mid-century holiday life, perfect for documentaries, editorial content, and nostalgic storytelling.
