A man in a white shirt and dark trousers prepares to swing a golf club on a grassy course in Ridgefield, New Jersey, 1961. A group of spectators, mostly men in casual shirts and trousers, watches intently from the sidelines. The footage, shot on 8mm film, displays a distinct purple color cast and grainy texture typical of vintage home movies. The golfer executes his swing, captured in a continuous sequence from address to follow-through, with the ball visible in mid-air at the end. The scene evokes a nostalgic, mid-century American recreational moment.
