Woman and Young Boy by Swimming Pool — Clip Details

A woman in a dark one-piece swimsuit walks hand-in-hand with a young boy along the edge of a backyard swimming pool in North Hollywood, California, 1961. The boy is completely naked, and they move together across the sunlit concrete deck. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows a candid moment of domestic life with natural film grain and color fading characteristic of vintage home movies. The scene captures a quiet, nostalgic summer day in a residential backyard.
