Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Supports 1950s Nevada leisure-life requests needing home-movie poolside footage for documentary, museum, education, or period editorial use.
Period detail: Visible clues include mid-century patio furniture, a large blue umbrella, woven yellow chairs, palm plantings, and a motel-like modern building.
Home-movie behavior: The value is an unstaged home-movie moment as a woman walks casually along the pool patio while the handheld camera follows her.
What appears in frame: The frames show a woman in a dark dress, a swimming pool edge, yellow woven chairs, patio tables, blue umbrellas, palm plantings, and a low stone wall.
Film character: The 8mm scan has saturated but slightly faded color, visible grain, soft focus, gate edges, and handheld framing that give it physical-film texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief insert, transition, leisure cutaway, or memory beat within a sequence about 1950s travel and poolside recreation.
Historical context: The scene visually situates a leisure patio setting in 1954 Nevada without identifying the building, resort, or people shown.
Research note: People and faces are visible, so likeness review may be needed; copyright, property, and location permissions should be assessed separately.
Research search match: Useful for searches such as 1950s Nevada poolside home movie, woman walking by swimming pool, vintage 8mm motel patio, or mid-century leisure footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with Nevada 1954 footage, then with other 1950s poolside, travel, or leisure scenes.
