A Boy Swims In A Pool Keeping His Head Above — Clip Details

A young boy swims in a backyard pool in this 8mm home movie from 1962, captured in North Hollywood, California. Shot on vintage Super 8 film, the footage shows the boy treading water and keeping his head above the surface, with splashing blue water surrounding him. The grainy, slightly faded color palette and soft focus evoke a nostalgic, personal memory of summer recreation. The camera remains steady, focusing on the child's determined effort as he moves through the water. This authentic slice of mid-century American life is ideal for documentaries, editorial content, or nostalgic storytelling.
