Man Wearing Dark Coat and Hat Stands Near White Refrigerator — Clip Details

NEBRASKA-1957: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a dimly lit indoor scene with three men. One man in a white t-shirt sits in the foreground, while another in a dark suit and fedora stands near a white refrigerator. An older man in suspenders stands behind them. The footage shows subtle movement and natural interactions in a domestic setting, with visible film grain and warm color tones typical of 1950s home movies.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1950s Nebraska home-movie requests needing an indoor domestic gathering with adult men, period clothing, and refrigerator-era household detail.
Period detail: The dark fedora, suit jacket, suspenders, white T-shirt, and rounded white refrigerator may show mid-1950s domestic style in a private interior.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has unstaged home-movie value, with men standing and sitting casually while one man handles a small object or glass near the refrigerator.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include adult men, a dark coat and hat, suspenders, a white T-shirt, a rounded refrigerator, plain interior walls, and dim household lighting.
Film character: The 8mm color footage carries soft focus, visible grain, warm indoor exposure, and slight handheld framing consistent with family-shot mid-century film.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief domestic insert, memory beat, or transition into a 1950s family, kitchen, or private-gathering sequence.
Historical context: The scene offers visual context for adult social presence inside a Nebraska home without enough evidence to identify the people, occasion, or exact room.
Research note: People and a private interior are visible, so likeness and property considerations should be reviewed separately from any copyright status.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1957 Nebraska 8mm home movie, 1950s indoor family gathering, men in fedora and suspenders, and vintage refrigerator interior.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with nearby shots from the same reel, then with Nebraska 1957 interiors, and then with other 1950s home gatherings or kitchen cutaways.
