Crowds In A Street Parade Wearing Colorful Costumes — Clip Details

Nassau, Bahamas – 1961: A vibrant street parade unfolds in this 8mm home movie, capturing a lively celebration with participants in elaborate red, white, and blue costumes and feathered hats. The crowd moves through a sunlit urban street lined with colonial-style buildings, while a person carries a large decorated figure overhead. The footage, shot on vintage 8mm film, shows natural grain, slight color fading, and authentic period detail, evoking a nostalgic sense of mid-century Caribbean festivity and community spirit.
