Black Women Gathered In A Circle Singing Raising Their Hands — Clip Details

SUDAN-1969: A group of women in traditional colorful garments gather in a circle in a dry, arid landscape under acacia trees. They raise their hands in unison, some wearing headscarves and patterned wraps, engaged in a communal ritual or celebration. The 8mm film captures the scene with warm, faded colors and natural grain, conveying a sense of cultural tradition and spiritual gathering. A lone figure stands apart, observing the circle. The footage has a nostalgic, documentary quality, offering a rare glimpse into daily life and community practices in 1960s Sudan.
