Nebraska-1959: Poultry Exposition And Farm Supply Truck At Exhibition

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit

Useful for 1950s documentary edits needing brief archival footage of a poultry exposition, farm supply vendor presence, or agricultural trade activity in Nebraska.

Period detail

Visible clues include the 1959 NEPPCO Poultry Exposition banner, mid-century automobiles, a brick exhibition hall, and a Garden State Farm Supply truck.

Home-movie behavior

The footage has a visitor-shot feel, observing the truck, parked cars, and exhibition entrance from outside without staged action or formal presentation.

What appears in frame

The clip shows a green farm supply truck, poultry exposition signage, classic cars, a brick hall facade, entrance doors, a few people, trees, and bright pavement.

Film character

The 8mm footage carries soft focus, visible grain, slight color fading, and steady but informal framing typical of home-movie documentation.

Edit role

An editor could use it as a short insert, location-establishing cutaway, or transition into mid-century agriculture, poultry commerce, or county-fair-style exhibition material.

Historical context

The scene documents a public agricultural exhibition setting where farm equipment vendors and visitors appear around a large hall in daylight.

Research note

Human likenesses and Garden State Farm Supply branding are visible, so copyright, trademark, and likeness considerations should be reviewed separately before use.
