Shot on 8mm film in 1936, this vintage home movie captures a group of men practicing shooting in a rugged California mountain landscape. The footage shows several individuals in period attire, including hats and casual shirts, aiming rifles from rocky outcrops overlooking a calm river. The arid terrain features layered cliffs and sparse vegetation under bright daylight. The film exhibits classic Super 8 characteristics: soft focus, natural color fading, and visible grain, offering authentic archival footage for historical documentaries, nostalgic content, or period-specific projects.
