WASHINGTON DC-1961: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a nighttime scene at a performance venue. A group of people, including children in white shirts and dark skirts, stand on a stage-like area under dim lighting. A metal scaffolding structure is visible to the left, and a small gazebo-like building stands in the background. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows a formal gathering or school event, with individuals positioned as if preparing for or concluding a performance. The grainy, low-light quality and film artifacts are characteristic of home movie footage from the early 1960s.
