Family of Three Wave Goodbye in Backyard — Clip Details

A young girl in a blue and white plaid dress stands with her parents in a suburban backyard in California, 1961. The family poses near a stone wall and clothesline, with bare trees in the background suggesting early spring. The mother wears a white blouse and plaid skirt, while the father smokes a cigarette and wears a gray sweater. The girl, with dark hair in a neat style, waves goodbye as the parents smile. Shot on 8mm film, this vintage home movie captures a candid, nostalgic moment of mid-century family life with natural lighting and authentic film grain.
