Woman Swimming in Dark Pool — Clip Details

A woman swims in a dark pool during a nighttime or indoor session, captured on 8mm film in 1951. Her body glides through the water in a backstroke motion, illuminated by a warm, orange-toned light that contrasts with the deep blue-black water. The grainy, low-light quality of the Super 8 footage enhances the nostalgic, intimate feel of this home movie. The scene evokes a sense of quiet recreation and personal fitness, with the swimmer’s movements fluid and deliberate.
