Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s 8mm home-movie footage for productions needing a quiet visitor view of the Garden Tomb grounds in Jerusalem.
Period detail: The clothing, handheld framing and color 8mm texture support the supplied 1976 date, with a visitor in a green jacket among garden plantings.
Home-movie behavior: The clip has an unstaged tourist perspective, observing a man pausing with a walking stick rather than performing for the camera.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a long-haired man, walking stick, green jacket, yellow flowers, dense foliage, tree trunks and stonework behind the garden.
Film character: Soft focus, visible grain, uneven exposure and slight motion blur give the scan a physical 8mm home-movie character.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a contemplative cutaway, travel-memory insert or transition within a sequence about Jerusalem religious sites.
Historical context: The footage shows a landscaped visitor setting at the Garden Tomb without establishing ceremonies, crowds or specific historical events.
Research note: A visible adult face and religious-site context call for likeness and editorial-use review, separate from copyright status of the film scan.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1976 Jerusalem Garden Tomb home movie, 8mm Israel garden visitor, and 1970s religious site travel footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1976 Garden Tomb or Jerusalem footage, then broader 1970s religious travel scenes.
