Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s Perth, Australia archive requests needing a brief home-movie title card or location-identifying insert before travel, landscape, or Swan River footage.
Period detail: The visible clue is a filmed title card reading "Perth" with simple graphic artwork, consistent with a home-movie reel label or travel sequence marker.
Home-movie behavior: The clip reflects a visitor-shot or family-reel approach, using a location title card to organize travel memories before or between scenes.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include the word "Perth," pale title-card background, stylized yellow plant shapes, a dark bird-like graphic, film gate borders, dust, and frame overlap.
Film character: The 8mm scan shows grain, soft focus, uneven exposure, dust, and contact-sheet frame edges that preserve the physical character of the original film.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a location-identifying insert, transition card, or memory beat introducing Perth-related archival travel footage.
Historical context: As a home-movie title card, it gives visual context for a 1967 Perth travel sequence without independently documenting a specific landmark or event.
Research note: No people, logos, or private property are visible, but copyright in the footage and any title-card artwork should still be reviewed separately.
Research search match: Matches searches for 1967 8mm Perth Australia home movie title card, vintage travel reel location marker, or archival Perth insert footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then other 1967 Perth material, then broader Australian travel or aerial river footage from the period.
