Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1960s industrial Australia edits needing 8mm home-movie views of oil storage infrastructure near Brisbane.
Period detail: The white cylindrical tank lettering, industrial yard, and 8mm color stock support a mid-1960s industrial setting, with the year and Brisbane location supplied by metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The brief appearance of a man in sunglasses and the handheld framing give the clip a visitor-shot or personal travel-film perspective rather than a staged industrial film.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include gravel yard, white oil tanks, pipe equipment, blue sky, a man in sunglasses, tank lettering, ladder structure, and dark film-gate edges.
Film character: The footage has saturated 8mm color, visible grain, slight softness, handheld framing, and exposure variation that read as authentic home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as an industrial cutaway, location-establishing insert, or brief transition into petroleum, infrastructure, or Australian 1960s material.
Historical context: The clip visually places oil storage and related equipment in an outdoor industrial setting, with no broader company history or operational claims supported by the frames alone.
Research note: Human review should consider visible tank branding and the briefly visible adult face; copyright, trademark, likeness, and location permissions are separate clearance questions.
Research search match: Search phrases this may match include 1960s Brisbane oil storage tank, Australian industrial 8mm footage, Moonie Oil tank home movie, and vintage petroleum infrastructure.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with Brisbane or 1967 industrial footage, then with broader oil, storage tank, refinery, or infrastructure themes.
