Shot on 8mm film in 1939, this vintage footage captures a crowd of people gathered outside a United Air Lines airliner at an airport in San Francisco, California. Men in suits and fedoras, women in hats, and children are seen greeting and shaking hands with passengers. The grainy black-and-white film shows the excitement of early commercial air travel, with the aircraft's tail and fuselage clearly visible in the background. This authentic home movie offers a nostalgic glimpse into mid-20th century aviation history and social life.
