Shot on 8mm film in 1937, this vintage home movie captures a sunny summer afternoon at a public pool in Southampton, New York. Women in classic swimsuits and swim caps enjoy the water, with one woman diving into the pool while others relax on the edge or lounge nearby. The footage features the characteristic grain and color shift of early 8mm film, with lush greenery and a red Adirondack chair visible in the background. This authentic slice of mid-20th century leisure offers a nostalgic glimpse into past recreational life.
