EL MONTE CALIFORNIA-1937: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a lion walking on a pole inside a chain-link enclosure. The black-and-white footage shows the trained animal balancing carefully, with a handler visible nearby. Shot through the fence, the grainy, high-contrast image reflects the era's home movie aesthetic, offering a rare glimpse of early 20th-century animal training and circus-style entertainment.
