Karate Championship Match with Red and Black Belt... — Clip Details

WEST COVINA CALIFORNIA-1966: A vintage 8mm film clip captures a high-stakes karate championship match in a crowded gymnasium. Two male competitors in white gi uniforms, one with a red belt and the other with a black belt, engage in intense grappling and throws. A referee in a dark suit oversees the match as spectators watch from the bleachers. The footage, shot on 8mm film, shows natural grain, slight motion blur, and authentic period lighting, conveying the energy and tension of a 1960s martial arts competition. This archival home movie offers authentic, nostalgic footage for documentaries, historical content, or retro-themed projects.
