Men Compete On Mat During Martial Arts Event In — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1966, this vintage home movie captures a martial arts competition in a gymnasium. Two men in white karate gi and black belts grapple intensely on a red mat, their movements focused and deliberate. Spectators sit on bleachers in the background, watching the match under dim, grainy lighting. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film characteristics—soft focus, high grain, and subtle color shifts—evoking a nostalgic, authentic 1960s atmosphere. This archival clip offers authentic martial arts competition footage for documentaries, editorial content, or retro-themed projects.
