WEST COVINA CALIFORNIA-1966: Vintage 8mm film captures a judo competition in black and white, with two athletes in traditional white gi grappling on a mat. The match unfolds in an indoor arena before a large, seated audience, with spectators watching intently from bleachers. The grainy, high-contrast footage shows dynamic action, including throws and holds, with a referee in a suit observing. The scene reflects the era's martial arts culture and amateur sports events, preserved as a nostalgic home movie.
