Turkey Float with Pink and White Flowers — Clip Details

NORFOLK VIRGINIA-1966: A vibrant 8mm home movie captures a parade float adorned with pink and white flowers, featuring young women in light-colored dresses. The float, labeled "TURKEY," moves down a city street lined with spectators and storefronts, including a visible "FRANK THOMAS CO." sign. The footage, shot on vintage 8mm film, shows natural film grain and slight motion blur, conveying the nostalgic energy of a 1960s community celebration. The scene includes a white vehicle and a large white figure on the float, with a U.S. Navy sign visible in the foreground. This authentic archival footage is ideal for documentaries, editorial content, and nostalgic projects.
