Pet Birds In A Big Cage — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1963, this vintage home movie captures two pet birds—a blue and a green-and-white budgerigar—inside a large, round wire cage. The birds perch on a wooden dowel and a white, patterned shelf, with a small bell and red food dish visible. The footage shows subtle movement as the birds shift positions, framed by a plain wall in a quiet indoor setting. The warm, slightly faded color palette and visible film grain evoke a nostalgic, mid-century American home atmosphere.
