Marching Band and Color Guard Parade — Clip Details

A vibrant 1962 parade in New York City captured on 8mm film, featuring a marching band in red and gold uniforms with pom-poms, followed by a color guard carrying American flags and a brass band in dark blue uniforms with tall gold hats. The procession moves down a sunlit street lined with buildings, including a visible 'Super Diner' sign, with spectators watching from the sidewalks. The footage shows natural film grain, slight motion blur, and a handheld camera perspective, evoking a nostalgic, authentic slice of mid-century Americana.
