Izmir Turkey-1962: Group Of People Outside By Picnic Tables While Two Women In White

Group Of People Outside By Picnic Tables While Two Women... — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a sunny day at an outdoor picnic in Izmir, Turkey. A group of people, including adults and children, gather around picnic tables in a grassy field with rolling hills in the background. Two women in white dresses stand out, one in a sleeveless top and white pants, the other in a long white dress, both engaged in conversation. A man in a dark shirt and blue pants takes a photo with a camera. The scene is bathed in bright sunlight, with natural film grain and slight color fading characteristic of Super 8 footage. This archival clip evokes a sense of mid-century family life and leisure.
