Pool Party with People Relaxing and Swimming — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a sunny summer day at a private poolside in Rhodes, Greece. A man in a light-colored shirt and dark trousers crouches by the pool's edge, while others relax on lounge chairs and swim in the blue water. The scene is framed by lush green trees and a white building in the background, with classic mid-century lawn furniture and clothing styles visible. The footage shows natural movement and slight camera shake, characteristic of handheld Super 8 film, evoking a nostalgic, candid moment of leisure and family recreation.
