Man in Turban, Parked Cars, and Crowd — Clip Details

Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage home movie captures a candid street scene in Izmir, Turkey. A man in a traditional turban appears in the foreground, his face partially overlaid with a double exposure effect. In the background, classic 1960s automobiles, including a light-colored Volkswagen Beetle, are parked along a hillside. A group of children and adults stand on a paved area, with a man holding a camera. The footage exhibits natural film grain, slight color fading, and a nostalgic, documentary-style aesthetic.
