Shot on 8mm film in 1962, this vintage footage captures a lively outdoor celebration in Izmir, Turkey. A group of men in casual 1960s attire dance in a circle on a grassy field, their movements energetic and rhythmic. One man raises a white cloth or towel above his head, adding to the festive atmosphere. The crowd, including children, watches and participates in the traditional ritual. The scene is framed by trees under a bright sky, with natural film grain and slight motion blur characteristic of home movie footage. This authentic archival clip offers a nostalgic glimpse into Turkish cultural traditions of the era.
