IZMIR TURKEY-1962: A vibrant outdoor gathering captured on 8mm film, showing a group of men in traditional attire and suits dancing in a linked line, arms interlocked, moving rhythmically across a grassy field. A drummer in a dark jacket plays a large frame drum, leading the procession. The crowd, including children and adults, watches from the sidelines under a bright sky, with lush green trees and rolling hills in the background. The footage exhibits the warm color palette and slight grain of vintage Super 8 film, evoking a sense of cultural celebration and communal joy.
