A vintage 8mm home movie from 1969 captures a Boy Scout parade in Lynbrook, New York. The footage, shot on Super 8 film, shows scouts marching down a street carrying flags, including the American flag, and a banner for Our Lady of Peace School. The entire clip is bathed in a distinctive purple hue, likely from film degradation or a filter, with visible grain and slight camera shake. The scouts wear uniforms and march in formation, creating a nostalgic snapshot of a local community event.
