A vintage 8mm home movie from 1966 captures a graduation ceremony at a high school in Frederick, Maryland. Students in black caps and gowns walk across a grassy field toward a stage where officials stand, with an American flag prominently displayed. Rows of empty chairs await guests, while a large crowd fills the bleachers under an overcast sky. The footage shows a formal, nostalgic event with a distinct 1960s aesthetic, grainy film quality, and a purple-tinted color palette typical of Super 8 film. The camera remains stationary, offering a wide view of the ceremony and its surroundings.
