FRANCE-1949: A vintage 8mm home movie captures a sunny day in a French town, where a small white horse stands on a bustling street surrounded by people. A woman in a light-colored blouse and dark skirt covers her mouth in surprise or amusement as the horse, adorned with a decorative headband, interacts with passersby. Children in period clothing gather around, including a girl in a blue polka-dot dress. The scene unfolds under bright daylight, with the grainy, color-bleached quality of 8mm film lending a nostalgic, archival feel. The camera remains mostly static, capturing the spontaneous moment with natural movement and ambient street life.
