Infant Sitting In Wash Basin Put Small Object Into Mouth — Clip Details

A young infant sits in a small wash basin during a home movie shot in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1939. The black-and-white 8mm footage captures the child, shirtless and with wet hair, exploring a small object and bringing it to their mouth. The scene takes place indoors against a plain fabric backdrop, with natural lighting and the characteristic grain and soft focus of vintage home movie film. The child’s curious expressions and gentle movements convey a candid moment of childhood discovery and play.
