Family Swimming and Playing in Backyard Pool — Clip Details

A sun-drenched 8mm home movie from 1978 captures a family enjoying a summer day at a backyard pool in California. Children and adults swim and play in the turquoise water, with one person floating on a large inflatable shark. The scene is framed by a chain-link fence and dense green trees, with a white lounge chair visible on the sandy edge. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain and color saturation, evoking a nostalgic, carefree 1970s atmosphere perfect for documentaries, editorial content, or nostalgic projects.
