Men and Woman at Party with Name Badges — Clip Details

A vintage 8mm home movie from Kentucky in 1976 captures a lively indoor party scene. A man in a blue polo shirt, wearing a name badge, points to his chest while holding a small object. Another man in a light-colored shirt holds a cup, and a woman in a striped top appears in the background. The footage exhibits classic Super 8 film grain, warm indoor lighting, and a candid, nostalgic atmosphere typical of personal home movies from the era.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s Kentucky home-movie requests needing a brief indoor party cutaway with adults, casual dress, and button-showing interaction.
Period detail: The blue polo shirt, pinned round button, handheld 8mm look, and warm interior lighting support a mid-1970s domestic party setting.
Home-movie behavior: The clip preserves an unstaged social moment as a man gestures toward a button on his shirt while nearby guests watch or hold drinks.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a blue polo shirt, round chest button, handheld red object, light shirt, cup, striped top, doorway, and dim interior walls.
Film character: The footage has soft focus, visible grain, uneven exposure, motion blur, and handheld framing consistent with scanned 8mm home movies.
Edit role: Editors could use it as a short insert, party transition, reaction cutaway, or memory beat for informal 1970s social life.
Historical context: The scene shows adults gathered indoors in casual clothing, suggesting private social entertainment rather than a staged public event.
Research note: People, faces, a private interior, and a visible button or badge require likeness, property, and possible mark review separate from copyright status.
Research search match: Search match for vintage 8mm Kentucky party footage, 1970s home movie with man showing button, blue polo shirt indoor gathering, and candid social scene.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent shots from the same reel, then with Kentucky 1976 material, then with other home-movie party and casual gathering footage.
