Woman Showing Notebook To Friends In Purple-Tinted Home... — Clip Details

A woman in a white sweater smiles while showing a notebook to friends in a dimly lit room, captured on 8mm film in 1976. The footage has a strong purple color cast and heavy grain, typical of vintage home movies. She holds the book and gestures with a pen, engaging her friends in a casual gathering. A man in a patterned shirt appears in the final frame, seated and observing. The scene evokes a nostalgic, intimate moment from a 1970s social event, likely a party or informal get-together in Kentucky.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: Useful for 1970s documentary or education edits needing informal Kentucky home-movie footage of adults socializing indoors around a notebook or personal object.
Period detail: The clothing, room decor, visible plant, and soft interior lighting may show a mid-1970s domestic gathering, supported by the 1976 Kentucky clip metadata.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the unstaged interaction as a woman smiles, holds up a notebook, gestures with a pen, and engages nearby friends in a private indoor setting.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include a woman in a white sweater, a notebook or book, a pen-like object, seated companions, a patterned shirt, a houseplant, wall decor, and dim room lighting.
Film character: The 8mm footage has strong purple color shift, heavy grain, soft focus, uneven exposure, and handheld framing that contribute to its archival home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a memory beat, party cutaway, domestic-life insert, or transition showing casual adult conversation in a 1970s interior.
Historical context: The clip documents a small private social moment rather than a public event, with adults gathered indoors and one person presenting or sharing something with the group.
Research note: People and a private interior are visible, so likeness and property considerations should be reviewed separately from any footage copyright assessment.
Research search match: Likely matches searches for 1976 Kentucky 8mm home movie, 1970s indoor party, woman showing notebook, friends gathering, and purple-tinted vintage film.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent footage from the same reel, then other 1976 Kentucky home movies, then broader 1970s indoor gatherings or party scenes.
