College Men Partying Mixing Drinks While One Is Giving — Clip Details

KENTUCKY-1976: College men party in a dimly lit room, their faces bathed in purple light from a vintage 8mm film. A hand pours a drink from a clear bottle into a glass, surrounded by other bottles and a dark beverage in a tumbler. One man in a patterned shirt leans forward, while another in a white short-sleeved shirt looks down, possibly preparing a drink. The grainy, color-bleached footage captures the casual, nostalgic atmosphere of a 1970s college party, with a sense of intimacy and movement typical of home movie recordings.

Archive Intelligence

Archive brief fit: 1970s Kentucky home-movie footage suited for documentary or educational sequences about college social life, informal parties, and young adult gatherings.
Period detail: The clip may show a 1976 student or college-age party setting, with short-sleeved shirts, patterned fabric, glass bottles, and low indoor lighting visible.
Home-movie behavior: The value is in the unstaged closeness of friends mixing drinks, leaning through a crowded room, and moving casually in front of a handheld camera.
What appears in frame: Visible elements include liquor bottles, a dark drink in a glass, hands at a table, young men in short-sleeved shirts, wall decor, and a crowded private room.
Film character: The 8mm footage has soft focus, purple color shift, visible grain, uneven exposure, and handheld motion that give it a period home-movie texture.
Edit role: An editor could use this as a brief insert, party cutaway, social-memory beat, or transition within a sequence on 1970s college life.
Historical context: The footage documents an informal private gathering among college-age men, showing alcohol preparation and close indoor social interaction without staged presentation.
Research note: People, private interiors, and visible bottle labels require review for likeness, property, and brand concerns separate from any copyright assessment.
Research search match: Useful search matches include 1970s Kentucky college party, 8mm home movie men mixing drinks, student gathering with alcohol, and vintage indoor party footage.
Archive pairing path: Pair first with adjacent same-reel party scenes, then other 1976 Kentucky home movies, then broader 1970s college social-life or indoor gathering material.
