Shot on 8mm film in 1973, this vintage home movie captures a sunny day at a public swimming pool in New York. A woman in a bright orange and yellow floral swim cap smiles and claps while in the water, surrounded by swimmers of all ages. A man holds a young child, splashing and playing in the pool. The footage shows a lively, nostalgic scene of family recreation, with natural film grain and rich, saturated colors typical of 1970s home movies. The camera remains mostly static, focusing on the joyful interactions in the water.
