Shot on 8mm film in 1970, this vintage home movie captures two people standing in front of a large, illuminated Christmas tree in Times Square, New York City. The scene is bathed in the cool blue and purple hues of nighttime, with colorful lights glowing on the tree and reflecting on the patterned pavement. The subjects, dressed in winter coats, stand together as the camera slowly zooms in, capturing the grainy texture and nostalgic atmosphere of a classic holiday moment. This archival footage evokes the warmth and charm of 1970s holiday celebrations in the heart of the city.
