A family walks down the steps of a grand building in this 1956 8mm home movie from Jones Beach, New York. A woman in a light pink dress and sunglasses pushes past a man in a white shirt and cap, while two young girls in matching pink dresses walk beside them. The scene captures a candid moment of mid-century family life, with classic 1950s fashion and a nostalgic, grainy film quality. The group moves past large columns, suggesting a public or civic building.
