Shot on 8mm film in 1949, this vintage home movie captures a woman and a young girl playing with a ball on a sun-drenched lawn in Santa Cruz, California. The woman, wearing a light-colored dress, tosses the ball to the girl in a white top and yellow shorts. The scene transitions to them sitting by a poolside, relaxing on wooden lounge chairs near a striped umbrella. The footage features classic Super 8 grain, warm color tones, and a nostalgic, candid feel, offering authentic archival material for documentaries, editorial content, or retro-themed projects.
